I don't like the way any random person can change these pages!
That's the point of a Wiki, and it's always possible to roll-back the status if somebody abuses it -- but in general, wiki's work better than one would expect, perhaps because it's not a challenge to crack them.
It's also basically a place to post information that is intended to be factual, like any other website, and not the venue at which to hold a debate. We have the Message Board and mail lists for that.
